The saucer came just in time for our big snowfall on the mountain in Arizona, so we have been having lots of fun flying down the hills! but it did dent up after the first day of use. I would say I like it, but will probley need to buy another one in a couple of years.

The perfect sled
My daughter absolutely loves this sled. We can't get her off of it long enough to come inside!

all the fun they used to be.
My sister and I had metal saucers when we were kids in the 70's and those same saucers lasted to see use from my kids until this winter when they finally gave out. These flexible flyers are the same great quality that will last for many years (maybe decades). The other kids in the neighborhood keep coming over wanting to use them, might have to get a few more. A little expensive but if they last 20 years its worth it.

One Way To Relive My Childhood
I had a steel snow saucer when I was a kid -- it was a blast. Last year (Christmas of 2008), I bought this new bright red Flexible Flyer just to have -- it makes me happy to look at it. As a kid, I lived in the north Jersey hills, so had plenty of places to sail it down slippery slopes. I have no such advantage close to my home now, but if I ever go somewhere in the winter where I think snowy hills would exist, I'll bring my flyer, get crunched up in it, close my eyes, and pretend it's 1957 all over again. So I'm 63 -- but I'm in good shape; in fact, I'm a downhill skier......so I think I could manage a few rides on my red flyer. If you're a sentimental Boomer like me, order one of these just to have it. I have no grandkids, but even if I did, it would be "hands off" my snow saucer!!! hahahahaha

Not quite as pictured, still very nice.
This product arrived in excellent condition but was not as pictured. The handles are not thick black handles like the picture shows but thin white rope handles. The sled is CHERRY red not maroon. Very nice sleds my kids and hubby will get years and years of use out of these. High quality. Now we just need some snow!
